History: I've been in the business for about ten years and actually B.S.'d my way into my first gig. Me and my (at the time) girlfriend (now x) went into a po-dunk hole in the wall shop in Southern CA to get inked. During the course of my tat, me and the owner/operator started talking and I told him how I did my own work but obviously couldn't reach my back to do this one myself....anyways after a couple hours of this, my tat was done and my girlfriend was up....at the same time this dude (who will remane nameless) offers me a job, as long as he can see my portforlio. Well not really having one, I told him I would do him one better and stick my ol' lady right there......hence the first tat I ever did in a pro-studio.....if you can call it that!!! I worked there until I came to work one day and there were 15-20 guys in suits and all of them came in 2or 3 black Suburbans hanging around the joint, and my boss was nowhere to be found.......so I made a u-turn and headed home. Come to find out his drug on the side scheme (that I knew nothing about) had slightly violated his PAROLE conditions!!!!!

Military Trouble: Out of a job, girl getting more stupid by the day.....I joined the United States Marine Corps, had a kick ass time in my years in, but it wasnt without its problems.....after bootcamp, I purchased a whole new setup from Spaulding (everything I owned previously had left in the back of a black Suburban) and went to work on all my fellow Marines.....money was coming in faster than I could spend it, and I never even had to leave my room......until 6 or 7 of the dudes I stuck said they couldn't do situps/pushups one day, and ratted me out .....DESTRUCTION OF GOV. PROPERTY is what they pinned on me! Just got a handslap but they took all my equipment and I never saw it again. I bought more equipment, joined the Army after a short break from the Marine Corps, and basicly the the whole scene was repeated all over again!!!

What now??: I'm now done with the military and once again purchased all new equipment, so i think I'll hit the convention trail. I've added a page of upcomming tattoo conventions both national and international so check 'em out and maybe they'll be hosting one close enough to you. The Inkslingers ball in CA is in Sept. and hopefully I'll see you out in Cali soon.
